GABY DE ARMAS - JR. ASSISTANT INSTRUCTORGaby de Armas began her Karate-do tutelage under Sensei Tony Garcia in September
of 2004 when she was 11 years of age. She currently is a Sho-dan ho (black
belt) in Inoue-ha Shito-ryu Karate-do and is the quintessential Karate prodigy.
Since the day she entered competition she has dominated just about every competition she has entered. In July of 2006 her competitive career reached a new level when she took home a gold medal in the USA-NKF National Championships. She assists both Sensei in teaching and training the students and makes up an important part of our teaching staff and competitive team. As Sempai Gaby once said, "There are two ways of spreading light: to be the candle or the mirror that reflects it." We are very fortunate to have someone of Sempai Gaby's caliber helping and teaching at our school. |
